At WizeGuides, we believe that learning a new technology should never be intimidating and it
should always be fun. So we make it easy for you. A patient, knowledgeable WizeGuide works
with you one-on-one in the comfort of your home. We work at your pace. There's no pressure.
In fact, we strive to make it the best part of your day!
Hi, my name is Marjorie. I was the Executive Vice President, Treasurer and
a principal of a multimillion dollar company. What was one of the things I liked best about that job? I
oversaw all aspects of a fully computerized operation and the IT department
reported directly to me. When I sold the company a few years ago, I really
missed this interaction. So, for the past few years, I've been helping people
use their computers and loving every minute of it. That's why I started
WizeGuides. I'm fluent with both PCs and MACs and speak the language of
most software programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and
Outlook. I was a high school teacher with a Masters in Education, a community volunteer (I'm a lifelong Newton/Brookline area resident) and I love making technology simple for people. Work with me and you'll find out technology
isn't frightening at all. On the contrary, it's amazing!
Hi my name is Carol. Some know me as a businesswoman and company
principal. Others as a registered nurse. And still others as a community
service volunteer. And everyone knows me as a lifelong resident of Newton.
I've always loved technology but you'll probably be happy to know I could
never be considered a young geek. And you can bet I don't approach
technology that way and don't expect you to, either! I started WizeGuides
because it seemed like the perfect way to combine my tech skills with my
patience, love of people and desire to be of service to the community. I
know PCs, MACs and most major software programs. And I know people
just like you in the communities in which I work. I can help improve your life
by putting you at ease with technology in your home. That makes my day
and I hope to make yours, too.
